Robert De Niro has wished to see the American President Donald Trump in prison.

On an NBC live show that is called ‘Saturday Night Live’ (SNL), Robert De Niro plays the role of Robert Mueller, an American lawyer who has been the sixth Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. The show depicts comedic feud scenes between Mueller and Trump who’s portrayed by Alec Baldwin.

The feud between De Niro and Trump doesn’t end with the show, though. The two-time Oscar-winning actor has publicly announced that he wishes to see the president in jail over his collision with the Russian government.

His accusations towards Trump have prompted the president to call him a low IQ individual in a tweet that reads, “Robert De Niro, a very low IQ individual, has received too many shots to the head by real boxers in movies.”

Later, on the Today show De Niro says that things Trump tweeted don’t bother him as he doesn’t say anything smart.

SNL is star-studded show that has broadcast live from New York for more than four decades. Some comedic sketches, satirical news and digital shorts, alongside popular musical acts comprise the content of the show. Over the years, cast members have included Jimmy Fallon, Will Ferrell, Tina Fey, Kate McKinnon, Seth Meyers, Eddie Murphy, Bill Murray, Mike Myers, Amy Poehler, Chris Rock, Maya Rudolph, Andy Samberg, Kristen Wiig, and many more.
